Juniper Rag invites artists working in all original 2D and 3D media to submit compelling, well-crafted works suited for contemporary residential and corporate environments. This juried call—led by renowned Boston-based design consultant Jessica Klay, celebrated for her innovative approach to art integration in high-impact interiors—aims to connect visionary artists with the designers, organizations, and homeowners seeking meaningful, uplifting work for the spaces where people live, gather, and thrive.

We are looking for art that enhances and enriches a wide range of environments—work that resonates broadly, engages without alienating, and strikes a confident balance between originality and accessibility. Submissions should prioritize:
Strong visual presence without heavy conceptual demands
Inviting palettes and forms that support wellness and emotional impact
Sophisticated craftsmanship and thoughtful use of materials

About the Juror: Jessica Klay
Jessica Klay is an award-winning corporate interior specialist whose vision merges art, architecture, and the lived experience of a space. With two decades of experience advising corporate clients, boutique hospitality groups, and private collectors, Klay brings a discerning eye to works that elevate environments and support the wellbeing of the people who move through them. Her selections reflect clarity, sophistication, and an understanding of art’s role in shaping atmosphere.

Submission Guidelines
Up to 5 works may be submitted
All work must be original, completed within the last 2 years
Open to painting, collage, drawing, textile, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, and new media
Works should be ready for installation and priced appropriately for the design market
Submissions should include high-quality images, artist bio, and a short statement about how your work lives in space
