We invite you to join us for “POPpin’ at the Factory,” the 2024 New Art Center Gala. With so much success last year, Juniper Rag is back to collaborate with New Art Center to bring the most vibrant and desirable art offerings to their auction. New Art’s annual gala is known as a not-to-be-missed event that celebrates art, artists, and the creative community. Be a part of something extraordinary while raising funds to support the New Art Center and their Cultural Access Program.
New Art Center will be featuring work from our call that pops. The gala features over 90 works of art across three auction platforms (Live, Silent, and Online). Inspired by "The Factory", a hip hang out for Andy Warhol’s cohort of artists, musicians and celebrities in NYC in the ‘60s, the venue Garage B will be transformed. We hope you’ll take a walk on the wild side with us. Don’t miss this fabulous night complete with creative food & desserts, live entertainment, a curated art auction, and more!

Located within Brighton's Charles River Speedway, this 1940s former garage will be transformed into a hip hang out for Andy Warhol’s cohort of artists, musicians and celebrities in the ‘60s. Garage B is a stunning, large, industrial space with floor-to-ceiling garage doors that open to a courtyard. Come take a walk on the wild side with us. Proceeds benefit the Community Access Programming for New Art. You score some killer art and the community has access to art.
There are 3 types of auctions.
Live Auction, Silent Auction and Online Auction.

ABOUT NEW ART CENTER
The New Art Center is a community art education space which offers everyone, at all levels of ability, exceptional opportunities to make, exhibit, view, think about and talk about art. Since 1977, New Art has built community by lowering barriers to participation in the arts, and integrating the experience of art into everyday life.
The New Art Gala will raise funds for the New Art Center’s Cultural Access Project. This project is an umbrella for a variety of programs, all of which provide increased community outreach by creating more diverse and inclusive programming. Each of these programs serve a different population in the community. Many of the participants come from groups that are commonly marginalized, like youth and adults with disabilities. Other programs were created to serve a specific problem in the community, like our expanded Expressive Arts Therapy program, which is a response to the rise in mental health concerns, especially among teens. Drop off dates for art: Saturday, April 20th - Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024
Online viewing and purchase for silent auction: Opens on or around Wednesday, April 17th. The Online Auction will remain open, until one week post Gala.
New Art Gala Reception: Saturday, April 27th, 2024
Post Sale: Artwork not sold by the end of the event may be held open an additional 7 days
Pick Up Dates: Sunday, May 5th - Friday, May 10th, 2024
