R Design Botanic is a Czech artist whose work brings together nature, textile, and digital imagery. Her creative process begins with direct impressions of real plants, which she transforms into artworks and textile patterns. She is drawn to the beauty hidden in small and often overlooked details, which become a source of inspiration throughout her work. Creativity has been part of her life for as long as she can remember, although her journey into creating fine art began only recently. Her work is inspired by nature, its fragility, constant change, and ability to surprise. Through her artworks, she preserves the impressions of plants and moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. In 2026, her work was selected for the curated exhibition Letní salón Mánes Vol. 2 in Prague.

ARTIST STATEMENT

In my work, I use direct impressions of real plants, which I then digitally transform into artworks and textile patterns. I enjoy noticing the uniqueness of each plant and the traces it leaves behind. Many of them grow in places we pass every day without paying much attention to them. Through my work, I seek to capture their fragile beauty and preserve a moment of encounter that might otherwise disappear. For me, creating is a way to slow down, look more closely, and rediscover the value of things often considered ordinary. Each artwork is an expression of gratitude for the gifts of nature. It is also a way of preserving encounters with plants I have noticed and sharing them with others.
