This is our 3rd exhibition in a series about pushing boundaries in art practice. We extend a loud invitation to artists across all mediums who are pushing boundaries to submit their work for consideration for VANGUARD.

VANGUARD

A challenge to reimagine the dynamic relationship between art + the future.

In recent years, the dynamic relationship between art and its future has evolved into a nuanced and intricate interplay, continuously reshaping our world. Technology now plays an unprecedented role, although it has always been intertwined with art throughout history. Innovation and experimentation have long been pivotal, from ancient cave paintings to the latest digital creations. Today, artists harness technology more than ever to forge new and inventive modes of expression, while also delving into the social, cultural, and ethical dimensions of technological progress. We invite visionary artists to join us in redefining the canvas where traditional mediums converge with technology. VANGUARD calls upon artists rooted in traditional fine arts to explore the transformative intersection with cutting-edge mediums. From the timeless strokes of a canvas to the latest digital innovations, this open invitation aims to bridge the gap between enduring contemporary practices and the pioneering advances of our time.

Calling all visionary artists to join us in reshaping the canvas where traditional mediums meet technology. VANGUARD invites artists working in traditional fine arts to explore the transformative intersection with cutting-edge mediums. From the enduring strokes of a canvas to the latest digital marvels, this open call seeks to bridge the gap between the time-honored contemporary practices and the innovative advances we see today.

Open to artists exploring these questions:

How can emerging mediums redefine artistic expression?

How can we express our relationship with the future or tech using traditional mediums?

In what ways does the future of art challenge and reshape traditional notions of art and creativity?

What dialogues can unfold between artists utilizing diverse innovative mediums?

How can these mediums illuminate the social, cultural, and ethical implications of its own advancement?

All mediums welcomed. Most artists are using technology today in their workflow. Photos, social media, applications all play a part in the process of artists today. Consider how you are advancing in your process today using new ways to make and show our work.

We seek singular or collaborative works that merge different artistic disciplines either conceptually or physically.

This present moment in our creative life used to be an imagined future.
