OUR INAUGURAL EXHIBITION
To include as many artists as possible for our SINGLES exhibition in our new space, we present, the work of over 50 artists for an in-person show in our small but mighty gallery in Worcester, MA, in The Canal District’s Crompton Building, Studio 201.
We have been welcoming guests to our shared space with KB Designs & Sarah Brueck located directly above Bedlam Book Café since August 1, 2026. This is our first official exhibition!
SINGLES —art with one unifying element for all:
must contain blue, any blue, a hint of blue or as much or as little as you want.
SINGLES celebrates the artwork that can stand entirely on its own. Unburdened by the expectations of a larger series, each selected work must command attention through its presence, concept, craftsmanship, and ability to linger in the mind long after the viewer has moved on. We did break a few rules. Maybe it’s David Carson’s fault! Coming off TORN and SUN DRUNK, two very powerful virtual shows with incredible guest jurors, Carson and Paige Roehrig of Copley Society—-we wanted to show as much powerful work as possible in the space we have. Some select artists had more than one selected.
The work on the walls is outstanding. Small in scale but not in ambition, artworks measuring maximum 20 x 20 inches all around (min 5×5 inches) often possess an intimacy that larger works cannot achieve. They draw us closer. These pieces demand a slower look. They reveal that significance is never determined by size. Our space is limited, but…
there are 78 pieces in this collection with another 146 small works/works on paper in our office/annex..
Juniper Rag was founded on the belief that exceptional art deserves thoughtful visibility and that meaningful cultural experiences are built one artist, one collector, and one transformative encounter at a time. This exhibition reflects that philosophy and our space brings art to where the people already are— in a building known for retail and walkability.
Welcome to Singles, the reception coincides with our GRAND OPENING!
The show is open now, closing on September 27.
Reception: September 12, 2026 from 4-6 pm
Regular Saturday hours are 10-6pm
Join us for art, community, nosh and a toast!
Come on down and meet the artists.
