Statement:

My paintings represent a juxtaposition of elements from my childhood in my homeland, where memories are imbued with vibrant colors, Persian art motifs, and the anxieties inherent in growing up as a Persian woman. Additionally, they reflect the beauty of nature that surrounds me. The inclusion of crows in some of my artwork, as they are ubiquitous social birds in Tehran, symbolizes resilience, community, and strength, evoking both the sweet and melancholic memories of my hometown, Tehran.
