BIO

In recent years, I have returned to painting, reigniting my passion and transforming my life in remarkable ways. After earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in 1999, I began a professional journey that temporarily pulled me away from my artistic pursuits. Even though I remained a creative person, I was not practicing art as much as I wanted to. Now having this renewed commitment to painting, my art has deepened my connection to the creative process, reinforcing the meditative state it produces and solidifying my identity as an artist. Since then, I have engaged with various art communities and galleries, participated in numerous exhibitions, and enjoy painting in my studio whenever I can.

My practice involves oil painting more than any other medium and draws inspiration from my own photography and experiences. I love capturing fleeting moments on camera, and then creating my own interpretation on the canvas. I am particularly passionate about painting landscapes, cloudscapes, and seascapes, influenced by the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets I witness from both land and air. Their ever-changing forms and colors inspire me, allowing me to reflect their inherent beauty and magic in my work.

I find joy in experimenting with ways to express nature's incredible beauty and the ethereal atmosphere surrounding us every day. I strive to capture an essence and feeling of lightness so that viewers can lose themselves in the painting and experience magic for a moment.
