Shea Stoner-Day, Newton, Massachusetts
STATEMENT/BIO
Statement:
In a world often reduced to quick impressions and surface-level narratives, representational work offers a space for nuance. It invites viewers to look longer, to question what is visible and what lies beneath, and to engage with ambiguity rather than certainty. By grounding my practice in the real, I aim to expand how we understand one another—revealing that even the most familiar face holds layers of meaning waiting to be uncovered.
