DELIRIUM

This exhibition examines the psychological and aesthetic terrain between order and chaos of the mind—where imagination, emotion, and the subconscious intersect.

This exhibition was prepared over the summer months in collaboration with THT Rep’s performance of Edgar Allan Poe, the exhibition engages themes of fear, beauty, humor, instability, loss, and imagery of darkness and the great power of artists as highly creative humans to explore our fears of inclinations of unraveling.

Featuring 42 artists, creates work that mirrors the fluctuating states of the mind. The exhibition considers the duality of darkness and light, revealing how artists translate psychological tension into visual form.

The dark psyche, when confronted rather than suppressed, exposes the mechanisms of thought that process and drive human adaptation and creativity—revealing how survival often depends on understanding our own inner chaos. Many artists use art as therapy when processing life’s twists and turns. Some, just love to create work that comes from a dark side. DELIRIUM is a celebration of this convergence.

Through this wonderland of visual art, we invite viewers to contemplate the darker architectures of thought—the delicate balance between rapture and ruin, and the creative potential found within moments of disquiet and the haunting architecture of the mind.

Explore the dark side with us.
